DLO Health & Safety Advisor - Cloughfern, Newtownabbey
Location: Cloughfern Avenue, Newtownabbey
Hours: 37 per week, Monday-Friday (08:00-16:00)
Pay Rate: £19.32 per hour
Contract: Temporary

About the Role:
The DLO Health & Safety Advisor will support NIHE by developing and reviewing health and safety policies, carrying out inspections and audits, delivering training, and providing professional advice to ensure statutory compliance and best practice across operational sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review health & safety policies and procedures
* Carry out inspections, audits, and corrective action plans
* Deliver health & safety training and promote compliance
* Support risk assessments and incident investigations
* Advise on health & safety legislation and best practice
* Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and external regulators
Essential Criteria:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* Minimum three years' experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
* IOSH membership appropriate to qualification
* Intermediate IT skills
* Access to own transport for site visits
* Basic Access NI clearance
