Senior HR Professional

A well-established multinational organisation with a strong operational presence in the Northwest is seeking an experienced Senior HR Professional to support a core onsite business unit.

This is a hands-on, senior HR role working closely with leaders and employees to deliver people solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organisational change.

The Role

Reporting into senior HR leadership, you will act as the primary HR contact for your assigned business area, operating as a trusted advisor, change agent, and employee advocate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the single point of contact for employees and managers on all HR matters
  • Partnering with business leaders to align people strategy with operational objectives
  • Coaching and advising managers to build engagement and a high-performance culture
  • Supporting organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives
  • Identifying development needs and supporting team development activities
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, including investigations
  • Analysing HR trends and metrics to deliver practical, data-driven solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies
  • Collaborating with specialist HR teams across talent acquisition, rewards, learning & development, performance, and HR systems
  • Maintaining a strong onsite presence through regular engagement with the business

About You

You are a senior HR professional comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels within a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Behavioural Science, or a related discipline
  • 8-10+ years' experience in a senior HR generalist or HR business partner-type role
  • Strong experience managing complex employee relations matters
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting organisational development and change initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Confident building relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong cultural awareness and experience working in a multinational environment

Location & Working Arrangement

  • Fully onsite role
  • Commutable from Derry and surrounding areas
