Role: Logistics Co-ordinator (Training Provided)
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 11am - 8pm
Salary: DOE
Full clean driving licence required

About the Role

An established logistics and transport organisation is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join its onsite team in Crumlin. This role is ideal for someone with experience in transport, logistics, or freight operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating daily transport activities to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.

Reporting to the local management team, you will play a key role in managing import/export processes, documentation, and liaising with transport partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day transport and logistics activities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate transport and shipping documentation, including export paperwork and final manifests

  • Handle Proof of Delivery (POD) processing and scanning

  • Plan, direct, and monitor import and export movements to ensure customer transit times are met

  • Book consignments onto internal and third-party freight systems

  • Ensure all files are fully costed, completed, and invoiced in a timely manner

  • Liaise with transport providers to ensure collection and delivery requirements are met

  • Maintain internal systems and records to support the movement of goods

  • Monitor performance metrics and assist with KPI preparation

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Identify potential issues and escalate risks that may impact service levels or deadlines

  • Support the team with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or freight coordination role is desired, full training provided.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident communicator with strong customer service skills

  • Computer literate with experience using logistics or transport management systems

  • Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
