Reach Forklift Driver

Staffline Recruitment are working in partnership with our client, a company who specialise in the storage and distribution of coffee to roasteries across Ireland and the UK and are based at Boucher Industrial Estate in Belfast who are seeking a reach forklift driver to join their team on a permanent basis

Salary: £12.75 to £13.25 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hour week - 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday

Essential Criteria:

• Must have at least a year's recent experience in a similiar warehouse role as a reach truck driver
• Must have up to date reach truck licence
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work on own initiative and be part of a small team
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as and when required
• Attention to detail

Job Duties:

• Operate reach forklift to load and unload palletised coffee and other goods from lorries and containers
• Move materials within the warehouse, while using an inventory management system
• Load and unload materials, ensuring that products are handled correctly and stored appropriately
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of pallets to maximise space efficiency and organisation
• Conduct regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain operational safety
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and labelling items for distribution
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Participate in other duties as and when required to support the smooth operation of the business
