Clinical Nurse Manager

Full time/perm post and reporting to Person in Charge onsite.

Our client, a private Residential Nursing Home based in Bray, Co. Wicklow is looking to hire a suitable Clinical Nurse Manager to join their Nursing Home.

Key Duties:

• Plan, create, and run training programs that meet the ongoing needs of the service, helping all staff build skills and widen their roles.
• Oversee, manage, and review the Staff Induction and Clinical Competency programs.
• Support a workplace that encourages learning and growth for all staff, and take part in training activities on the ward.
• Function as deputy for the Person in Charge (PIC) and provide Nursing Administration cover as scheduled, including night shifts.
• Report and document any accidents or incidents involving staff, patients, or visitors to Nursing Administration.
• Report and record all accidents or incidents involving staff, patient, and visitors to the Nursing Administration.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• A post-registration management qualification is desirable.
• A post-registration qualification in care of the older person is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience, ideally within a nursing home setting.
