Our client a large public sector organisation required a Counter Assistant to join their team in Ballymena.
Role: Counter Assistant
Salary: £13.26ph
Location: Ballymena
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Duration: Temporary until March
Job Duties
Administrative duties including but not limited to;
- Answering telephone calls from customers, colleagues and stakeholders
- Dealing with emails via shared inbox
- Making appointments for customers wishing to apply for social housing
- Dealing with the public at the counter, on site and via telephone
- Working as part of a team, with the ability to work alone
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Competent with it
- Dealing with internal post
- Providing administrative assistance to housing advisors
- Dealing with external agencies
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Valid driving licence and access to car
- Good organisational and accuracy skills
- Any other duties that may arise
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent level qualification (Level 2*) to include Maths and English at grade C
- Driving Licence
