My client a leading public sector organisation based in Belfast are currently seeking to recruit a Full-Time Information Standards & Data Quality Co-ordinator.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Pay: £23.60 per hour
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery (Project Management) The Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for: * Specification of solutions to meet stakeholders needs. * Successfully leading and delivering a selection of small to medium projects using effective and appropriate behaviours covering influencing, leadership, drive for results and collaborative working. * Management of information standards and data quality projects to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and legislation * Managing projects involving procurement, meeting the rules and requirements which apply to the public sector; * The formulation of plans and strategies for the management and production of the relevant No More Silos deliverables and documentation in line with HSCNI Standards and Practices as appropriate * Managing projects through the required formal approval stages such as business case approvals * Planning, monitoring and reporting on the Project * Reporting through agreed reporting structures * Working with specialist advice such as legal or procurement services in order to successfully deliver a project. * Developing and maintaining the Project Plan(s) and detailed Stage Plan(s) as required; * Managing Project Risks and Issue Logs, including the development of continuity plans * Managing projects involving procurement, meeting the rules and requirements which apply to the public sector * Applying the necessary checks and controls to ensure that project products and deliverables are quality assured * Understanding and applying business case and risk management processes.
Governance/Quality * Ensure that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed where shortcomings and non-compliances are identified as a result of external or internal audit. * Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, policies and codes of practice. * Ensure project is reflected and performance monitored as part of the performance reporting. Reporting to boards as appropriate. * Ensure the appropriate governance and risk management arrangements are in place to take appropriate action to identify and manage risk in accordance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures. * Ensure that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed where shortcomings and non-compliances are identified as a result of external or internal audit. * Conduct Post Project Evaluations and Project Reviews to assess how well the Project was managed and where appropriate, disseminating 'lessons to be learned', etc. * Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating prompt and effective corrective action as and when necessary * Applying Change Control standards and any required Configuration Management processes * Adopting and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards (e.g. Achieving Excellence); * Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of projects * Applying the necessary checks and controls to ensure that project products and deliverables are quality assure * Tailoring and managing expert knowledge to meet specific circumstances * Preparing any Post Project follow-on action recommendations as required.
Essential Criteria
1.Possess a university degree or professional qualification And have worked for at least 3 years in an information standards/data quality position within a major organisation Or Shortlisting by Application Form 10 | P a g e 2. Have worked for at least 5 years in an information standards/data quality position within a major organisation Other Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
The following are ESSENTIAL criteria which will be measured during the interview/ selection stage:
Demonstrate a proven track record in successfully managing and delivering moderately complex projects. 5. Can demonstrate a track record in working with a diverse range of stakeholders and senior management to achieve successful outcomes. 6. Can demonstrate an ability to agree common regional approaches to delivering information requirements across multiple organisations. 7. Have excellent networking skills and proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. 8. Have excellent communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
