Porter with Security Duties

About the Role

The Post Holder will be required to provide a Security and Portering service throughout Craigavon Area Hospital.

Essential Criteria

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively as a team member.

· Ability to use initiative and cope with emergencies in a calm manner

· Ability to relate easily to staff and the general public.

· Excellent observation skills.

· Physical ability to restrain violent patients/visitors.

· Flexible, adaptable and available to work night and weekend shifts.

· Co-operative attitude.

· Willingness to undergo appropriate training.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous security experience/ experience of dealing with violent/threatening situations.

Hours of work: 37.50hrs per week on a Rota basis for 5 days out of 7 including Bank Holiday Cover and Night Shift Duties.

In Return:

• Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
• Holiday Entitlement
