About the Role
Join Mitie's busy Control Room team in Lurgan as a Security Resourcer/Despatcher where you'll play a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly across the UK. This position involves rostering security staff, managing welfare check-ins, and ensuring clients receive consistent service coverage.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where strong communication, problem-solving, and organisation are key. This is an ideal opportunity for someone from a scheduling, coordination or call-handling background looking to build a career in operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily deployment of officers across multiple client sites.
- Create and maintain duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Respond to calls and manage real-time changes to coverage.
- Record incidents, welfare checks, and operational updates on internal systems.
- Liaise with field supervisors, clients and colleagues to ensure service continuity.
- Maintain accurate records, logs and reports for auditing and compliance.
- Support the control team with general administrative and communication duties.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in rostering, scheduling, or resource coordination.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confident user of computer systems, scheduling tools, or ticketing platforms.
- Calm, professional and detail-oriented under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 security vetting.
- Reliable commute to Lurgan for early, mid and late shifts.
