Weekend Team Supervisor, Dungannon area

**applicants must have reliable transport

To assist the Production Supervisor/Manager in the day to day running of a Production area and ensure quality and maximum efficiency is achieved. To cover the Production supervisor's role in their absence

Hours of work: 7am - 4.30pm

Rate of Pay: £13.70

Working Pattern : Fri - Sun, option for Monday if interested

Job Duties:

  • Adhere and work towards the company core values.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in employee handbook.
  • To help effectively plan and organize the people resources on the line to ensure the most efficient production output.
  • Ensure that all Hygiene and Health & Safety and Food Safety rules and procedures are followed by all operatives.
  • Ensure that all operatives comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures.
  • Ensure that all production KPI's are achieved.
  • Assist in driving efficiencies within the line and department.
  • Effectively communicate all Company information to all operatives on the line.
  • Ensure that the Production and other linked areas are kept clean and tidy, at all time. Using a 'clean as you go' rule.
  • Ensure that pre-production startup checks, and end of shift checklists are completed daily.
  • Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard and within customer specification.
  • Ensure all waste and resources are kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure all documented details are recorded accurately and all changeover information is precise.
  • Ensure the accurate recording of downtime and batch counter's for KPI purposes
  • Feedback all quality issues to the Production Supervisor/Manager and Quality Department.
  • Continuously monitor the process and offer ideas for improvement.
  • Motivate your team and develop a good team spirit.
  • Ensure all staff receive adequate training and report any gaps where applicable.
  • Leadership - take responsibility for team performance and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Lead by example - set the standard you want your team to follow.
  • Liaise with other Departmental Managers to make sure they fulfil their commitments to you.
