Warehouse Operative

Staffline Recruitment are hiring for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Little Island.

Main Duties:

• Loading and unloading of goods in a correct and safe manner.
• Operating Bendi forklift truck
• Accurately pick, kit or dispatch materials to schedule.
• Carry out 3 way matches on materials received.
• Report quality issues to Purchasing to address with supplier.
• Engage with carriers to arrange collections/delivery to site.
• Process all physical stock transactions and additional remote or labour transactions on receipt of approved instruction via JDE Stock Management System
• Compliant disposal of waste, recyclable materials, WEEE, Hazardous Waste
• Inspect material handling equipment, racking and maintain documentation
• Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• To be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
• Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by BPO
• To fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, RAMS etc

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team to ensure the stores operations are carried out in a safe and productive manner.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in full compliance with the company's Health & Safety Procedures.
• Ensuring adherence to warehouse quality targets: warehouse materials, stock, tools and buildings to be ordered, tidy, maintained and documented.
• Liaise with Purchasing Team on Stock Management.
• Adherence to Compliance Requirements on Waste Disposal: General Waste, Recycling, Packaging Waste, WEEE, Hazardous waste and maintain documentation.

Essential Criteria:

• Full clean driving license
• Forklift license
• Garda Vetting will be done on all candidates
• Warehouse experience
• Can work on own initiative
