Our client a large public sector organisation requires a Training Support Officer to join their team in Ballymena.
Role: Training Support Officer
Rate of Pay: £13.84
Location: Ballymena
Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: Until June 2025
Main duties/Responsibilities:
- Source appropriate work placements.
- Monitor trainees/apprentices' attendance and progress in line with internal NRC procedures and DfE training guidelines.
- Liaise with trainee/apprentices and employers to resolve any issues and, curriculum teams and Quality team to ensure quality of provision.
- Support trainee/apprentices in the delivery of Personal Training Plans and successful completion of qualifications.
- Achieve NRC targets for trainee/apprentice monitoring visits, work placements and ensure compliance with College and DfE regulations
Essential Criteria:
- Level 3 qualification
- GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade 'C' or above or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years' experience in an administrative role.
- Access to suitable transport for business purposes to effectively discharge the duties of this post.
