About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can develop life skills and thrive. You will work as part of a team to provide person-centred care, ensuring the social, emotional, and developmental needs of the children are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or a Level 5 qualification in a care-related subject.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • Registered or willing to register with NISCC/NMC.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour support strategies, and residential care standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable

  • Qualification in Positive Behavioural Support or CPI.

  • Understanding of RQIA regulations and Looked After Children policies.

This is a rewarding opportunity to lead, support, and inspire a team while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children in care.
