The Opportunity and Company:

Our client a leading provider of Bathroom solutions is currently looking to add an experienced Supply chain & Inventory Controller to their growing office. This position is an all-encompassing role, the successful candidate will play an important role within the business covering; Order and Supplier Coordination, Inventory Management, and Quality Control.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within each of the aforementioned areas or have strong experience within one/two aspects of the position and would be keen to expand their understanding and knowledge. Summary/ Main Tasks:

  • Negotiate supplier contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, while ensuring alignment with budgets and maintaining financial accountability.
  • Use data-driven forecasting to manage inventory investments, monitor demand, and oversee distribution and shipment expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and operational adherence to budgets.
  • Communicate stock availability, lead times, and financial metrics to relevant teams to enhance collaboration and minimize risks of overstocking or understocking.
  • Evaluate inventory metrics, ensure alignment with budgets, and collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize stock replenishment based on demand forecasts and KPI targets.
  • Prioritize quality control in supplier contracts and relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
  • Ensure quality standards by measuring production output and conducting regular quality control inspections, using data from audits to drive process improvements.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an inventory or supply chain role, demonstrating a strong background in full-cycle procurement and stock management.
  • Proven ability to drive supplier performance and monitor achievement of KPI targets.
  • Experience in evaluating and managing product quality.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

  • Confident in reporting and presenting data to a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Methodical planner with strong organizational skills.
