About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Strategic Accounts Manager to join a leading provider of occupational health and wellbeing services in Ireland.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and growing strategic client relationships, identifying opportunities for service expansion, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role would suit a results-driven individual with a strong background in account management, ideally within a healthcare or service-led environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, building strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, clinical, and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and quick resolution of client concerns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client developments to shape strategic account plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, activities, and performance metrics using CRM systems.
  • Develop sales forecasts, strategic sales plans, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Measure and monitor KPIs to ensure growth targets are achieved.
  • Represent the organisation at senior leadership level with professionalism and credibility.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in account management, ideally in a healthcare or related sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving financially driven KPIs and sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident presenting to and engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • A nursing or clinical qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings when required.
