Job description

On behalf of our client we have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Assistant to work side by side with experts within the field of Beauty products. You will be based near Randalstown Co.Antrim.

Hours of work; 9am-3pm OR 8am-2pm (During busy periods you would be required to work full-time hours)

Mon-Frid

Summary:

  • Day-to-day responsibility for fulfilling dispatch of sales orders. Ensuring that orders are picked & packed correctly to a high standard and dispatched in line with agreed time frame
  • Continuously strive for the maximisation of efficiency and tidiness of the warehouse
  • Administration on SAGE on an ADHOC basis

Key Duties:

Stock Management

  • Control all stock management in warehouse
  • Batch rotation - ensuring oldest batch is shipped out first
  • Checking in of orders received - ensuring the quantity received is correct
  • Logging damaged or unusable products to a non-conforming area
  • Stock take - notifying the team of stock take commencing so no orders can be shipped during this time, ensuring stock take is carried out efficiently and notifying team when orders can be dispatched again

Order Dispatch

  • Processing orders on the system. Printing pick sheets and labels
  • Picking, packing & dispatching all orders - picking the items into a central area, packaging to a high standard and ensuring they are ready for collection by the courier

Warehouse Organisation

  • Making sure enough packaging and dispatch materials are available and stored correctly
  • Ensuring discarded product packaging is recycled into the correct area i.e. cardboard & plastics
  • General tidying of the warehouse e.g. brushing and shelf tidying.
  • Ensuring processes are followed to maximise efficiency of overall warehouse and dispatch operations

Administration ADHOC basis

  • Using SAGE to process orders
  • SAGE admin i.e. reports, raising invoices, Receiving goods in, Prepping purchase orders for approval
  • Provide support on SAGE to the production team

Candidate Criteria:

  • Must have good attention to detail, Accurate, diligent and focused on quality, strong organisational skills. Adaptable, efficient, reliable and determined. Ability to pivot within the role to overcome unexpected tasks, and often urgent needs.
  • Previous experience of working within a Stores/Warehouse environment.
  • Computer skills: Advanced IT skills. Full training will be given on specific elements of Linnworks and SAGE.
