SOCIAL WORKER | DUBLIN CITY CENTRE | FIXED TERM CONTRACT

We are recruiting professionally qualified Social Workers on behalf of our client headquartered in Dublin City Centre.

• This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified professionals to join an established team.
• The role of Social Worker is integral within the organisation, and the successful candidate will gain in-depth experience supporting crucial services.
• The role will be offered on a full-time, contract basis for a 6-month period. Applications for part-time will also be considered.

THE ROLE |
The main purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day support to the social care team, supporting vulnerable adults with varying needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES |

• Review assessments of individuals and families, identifying vulnerabilities.
• Identify risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate them.
• Work closely with social work managers and wider teams to provide guidance and support related to specific queries.
• Work closely and maintain relationships with external agencies.

REQUIREMENTS |

• Fully qualified and registered social worker (CORU Registered)
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills with good report writing ability
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment that is very fast paced
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvement
