Location: Clonmore
Pay: £15.94 per hour
Overtime: Paid after 39 hours per week
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-15:30
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
Moy Park is seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Supervisor to join our Clonmore team.
This hands-on role involves leading a small team, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our farm and yard areas.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations within the Clonmore area.
Maintain Moy Park standards, policies, and hygiene procedures.
Supervise and support staff to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
Liaise with supervisors, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor flock health programmes, including vaccination, testing, and reporting.
Manage chemical usage and oversee machinery dismantling and cleaning.
Assist with store duties, deliveries, and occasional fumigation (if trained).
Prepare weekly performance reports for management.
Provide supervisory cover during absences.
What We're Looking For
Previous supervisory experience in a hands-on or agricultural environment preferred.
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Literate, numerate, and computer-literate.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
Reliable, with good timekeeping and a positive attitude.
Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Full UK driving licence required.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all PPE and equipment are used correctly.
Report hazards or defects promptly and support continuous improvement in safe working practices.
