Job Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant
Location: Ballymena
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week (reasonable flexibility required)
Salary: £35,000 p/a + Reward & Recognition Scheme

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team and play a key role in growing our business and supporting clients in attracting top-tier talent.
You'll work in partnership with clients and candidates to deliver best-in-class recruitment solutions across a designated specialism, while driving new business opportunities and building trusted relationships.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business leads via calls, visits, and marketing outreach
- Build strong pipelines and win new clients through your market expertise
- Develop proposals, prepare and present tender submissions, and negotiate fees in line with company policy
- Cross-sell Staffline services across the wider business
- Attend networking events to develop business opportunities
Client Management
- Provide a consultative service to clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Manage vacancies from briefing to placement, drafting high-quality job adverts and using a range of advertising channels
- Present client performance reports and market insights
- Maintain strong long-term relationships while continuously identifying new opportunities
- Support client satisfaction surveys and on-site visits
Candidate Management
- Attract and register high-calibre candidates via proactive sourcing, advertising, and social media
- Prepare candidates for interview, offering insight on role, company culture, and expectations
- Provide feedback, negotiate offers, and support onboarding processes
- Build talent pools and market top candidates to existing and prospective clients
- Work with colleges and universities to pipeline future talent
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records in STELLAR (our CRM system)
- Ensure all recruitment activity is compliant with legal, quality, and data protection standards
- Conduct quality audits and candidate vetting (right to work, references, etc.)
- Contribute to internal training, coaching junior consultants where required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- 3+ years' experience in a recruitment consultant role (ideally in a specialist sector)
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and placement targets
- Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiator
- Proven experience building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with the Northern Ireland recruitment market
- Full clean driving licence or access to transport
Desirable:
- Experience preparing tenders or proposals
- Third-level qualification
