Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
Location: Derry/Londonderry
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (reasonable flexibility required)
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 (dependent on experience)

We're currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Derry/Londonderry branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in recruitment or sales who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Sales
- Generate new business and meet gross profit targets
- Conduct client visits and identify opportunities for growth
- Prepare proposals, support tender submissions, and negotiate fees in line with company policy
- Add and maintain accurate client information on our CRM system
- Attend networking events and monitor market trends
Client Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide a consultative approach, identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions
- Manage vacancies and deliver site-based support when needed
- Benchmark salary, market activity, and candidate availability
- Present reports and gather feedback through client satisfaction surveys
Candidate Management
- Source, attract, and register candidates across relevant roles
- Prepare candidates for interviews and provide detailed client insights
- Offer feedback, negotiate offers, and support onboarding
- Build talent pools and proactively market candidates to clients
- Support candidate vetting, skills testing, and compliance
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records and uphold legal, GDPR, and internal quality standards
- Support the Branch Manager with team development and training
- Use the CRM system effectively for all activity tracking
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across branches where required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- 1+ years' experience in recruitment consultancy (within the last 5 years)
or 2+ years' experience in direct sales in a target-driven environment - Strong IT skills (MS Office, especially Word and Outlook)
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and resilience under pressure
- Full clean driving licence or access to transport
Desirable:
- Professionally accredited (REC or NRF/ERF)
- Experience using recruitment databases
