Quality Assurance & Quality Systems Manager

Date: October 2025

Overview
A leading manufacturer of high-voltage electronic components for industrial, medical, defence, and energy applications is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Systems Manager. This role will lead quality performance across the organisation, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a strong quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Systems Management
* Maintain, monitor, and improve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
* Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
* Review, update, and implement quality procedures, policies, and work instructions.

Quality Assurance & Control
* Oversee product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
* Manage non-conformance investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Facilitate structured problem-solving, including 8D and root-cause analysis.

Customer & Supplier Quality
* Manage customer quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
* Develop supplier quality performance through engagement and issue resolution.
* Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to senior management and customers.

Continuous Improvement
* Lead lean and Six Sigma improvement initiatives across production and support teams.
* Identify improvement opportunities to increase product reliability and reduce waste.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality best practice.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent).
* Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Systems within manufacturing (electronics or precision engineering advantageous).
* Strong understanding of quality tools: FMEA, SPC, control plans, audit processes.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Working Hours
* Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
* Overtime may be required during peak demand.
