Job Description:

We're seeking a Purchasing Specialist with proficiency in Polish to join their new and exciting team in Monaghan. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prestigious company with great promotion potential and a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience. The role will involve:

  • Analysing purchasing needs and fulfilling material orders for the maritime industry for eg. GF, Viega, Roxtec, steel, Blucher
  • Negotiating commercial terms with suppliers,
  • Actively searching for new suppliers and maintaining relationships with current suppliers,
  • Negotiating the terms of cooperation
  • Managing and supervising purchasing processes (determining the number of orders, meeting deadlines, responding to delays)
  • Maintaining documentation related to orders
  • Cooperation with sales and settlement departments,
  • Preparing reports and analyses of purchasing costs
  • Other Duties commensurate with the Job Title

As our ideal candidate, you'll have:

  • Proficiency in Polish and English- written and oral
  • At least 3 years technical or equipment purchasing experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and in particular in Microsoft Excel
  • Negotiation, organisation, time management and analytical skills
  • The ability to plan and optimise purchasing processes

It would also be desirable for you to have:

  • Relevant 3rd level degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of the market of supplier's products related to the maritime industry for eg GF, Viega, Roxtec, steel, Blucher
