Production Team Lead

My client, a Galway based Medical Device organisation, are looking to seeking to hire a Production Support Technician.

This is an evening shift, Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City.

Responsibilities

• Drive workstation and line performance through effective management.
• Address process deviations promptly with a hands-on approach.
• Monitor operations, implement daily workflow improvements, and lead Kaizen activities.
• Ensure high-quality standards by collaborating with operators.
• Lead yield improvement, line stability, and cost-reduction projects.
• Act as Team Leader when required.
• Train and upskill production teams; maintain training records.
• Audit workstations, units, and operator practices for compliance.
• Report and address downtime issues quickly.
• Represent the team in KPI meetings and provide updates.
• Support investigations, NCRs, CAPAs, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate on new product and equipment introductions.

Requirements

• A Level 7 or higher qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-related field is preferred.

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or cleanroom.
