Production Supervisor

Staffline are looking for an experienced production supervisor for our client based in Milstreet.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Ability to perform all production procedures and cleaning practices.

• Supervise production efficiently to deliver maximum output at minimum cost without deviating from quality or safety standards.

• Assist with the monthly production planning.

• Work seamlessly with other departments within the Business i.e. Warehouse, Logistics, R&D, QA, Finance.

• Supervise a highly functional, high performance team while ensuring cross training within the business, to have any leave cover available when required.

• Consistently promote high standards through personal examples so that collectively we create a genuinely "best in class" business.

• Communicate KPI's from the annual strategic plan so that each employee is aware of their place in delivering it.

• Use previous experience to identify & prevent issues occurring that lead to downtime or wastage.

• Operate a preventative maintenance regime in relation to plant & machinery.

• Ensuring conformance to specifications.

• Completing required product checks and recording data.

• Ensuring compliance with organisational procedures and legislation.

• Ensuring awareness and compliance with all Health and Safety procedures and work practices.

• Maintaining the work area in a clean and tidy manner, free of obstructions. This extends to storage and WIP areas.

• Follow the correct workflow.

• Understanding and adhering to food safety regulations and allergen cross contamination cleaning (Procedures) (Standards).

This is a role where the Supervisor will work as part of the production team but take overall responsibility for the team completing their tasks properly.

Full on the job training will be provided.

This is currently a Day role: Monday - Friday.

Essential Criteria

• Highly responsible & reliable.

• Prior experience in a production team lead or supervisory capacity.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team or on your own initiative.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Manual handling cert (desirable but not essential)

• Clean room environment experience (desirable but not essential)
