Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Production Process Operatives at our client - a leading Dairy processor - based in Cookstown.
This full-time role offers fixed shifts.
The hours available include:
7am-7pm/7pm-7am : 3 days on 3 days off 3 nights on rotating shift.
The hourly rate is £11.44 per hour day shift, £11.92 per hour night shift
Overtime is available and paid
As a Production Process Operative, you will be a key member of the Bulk Cheese and Why team playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient production of quality cheese and whey products. You must also be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nightshifts, early starts and late finishes as required. This role can also involve holiday/absence cover across differing shift patterns.
The Role:
- Ensure a quality product by checking for defects
- Operate Machinery as per company Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
- Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime
- Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary
- Analyse production line and machinery performance for issues, resolve and report issues
- Keep accurate records of production activities to comply with company and legislative requirements.
- Strictly follow the departments cleaning schedule and support other functions as deemed necessary
The Person:
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 GCSE's (inc English and Maths) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 years' relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication skills both verbal, written and computerised.
- Clearly demonstrate an ability to communicate to and work with to a range of internal and external stakeholders professionally and effectively.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of a Scada system
- Working Knowledge of a Cheese or Whey Production Process
- A minimum of 1 years FMCG experience
