Multi-Drop Rigid Driver

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking an experienced Multi-Drop Rigid Driver. This is a full-time permanent role based in Kerry.

Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Drop Rigid Driver your will be responsible for delivering Ice cream to a variety of customers including hotels, restaurants and other catering businesses across Kerry while ensuring timely and professional service. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery of Ice Cream Products: Safely operate a rigid truck to deliver ice cream products to multiple locations across Kerry;
• Loading and Unloading: Ensure products are loaded correctly and secured before transport, and assist with unloading at customer locations;
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and addressing any delivery concerns;
• Stock Management: Ensure accurate stock levels are delivered, and assist customers with product orders and inventory needs;
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and report any issues or maintenance needs;
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper handling of frozen goods and following road safety protocols;
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain customer signatures, and report any discrepancies in stock or deliveries;
• Temperature Monitoring: Ensure that all products are kept at the correct temperature during transport, particularly for ice cream and frozen goods.

Criteria:

• Valid Category C (Rigid Truck) license;
• Up-to-date CPC certification and tachograph card;
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery;
• Good knowledge of local and regional routes.
