Maintenance Administrator / Co-ordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Administrator to join their dynamic engineering team. This role involves providing technical and administrative support to the Maintenance department, ensuring smooth operations and the timely completion of key milestones.

Key responsibilities include general administration, managing purchase orders, invoices, and maintaining file structures and databases. The successful candidate will support engineering projects, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and handle scheduling tasks for all engineering works using a computerized maintenance system. They will also be responsible for stores administration, ensuring parts are logged and restocked efficiently.

This position also involves maintaining up-to-date records of maintenance activities, calibration data, and team training. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills to liaise across departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within an engineering environment.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
