Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Laboratory Assistant at our client - based in Cookstown.
This full-time role offers fixed shifts.
The hours available include:
9am to 5pm Monday to Sunday 5 days a week (must be flexible)
The hourly rate starting from £11.44 per hour.
Overtime might be available
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Your Time at Work
The responsibilities of a Laboratory Assistant include:
Helping with below:
- Arla, lactose, cream (all requested tests and record results)
- Water testing and micro sampling
- Lab equipment calibration (Pilots testing, PH meters,
- Milk intake samples testing
- Farmer samples for antibiotic if requested.
- CertaBlue - rapid micro testing
- Retail taste panel and shelf-life samples
- Effluent all daily testing + RO plant COD's, ph and conductivity
- CoA - customers certificate of analysis.
Skills required:
- Basic IT skill
- Flexibility
- Being a part of the Team
- Good communication - to write, read and speak and understand tasks
- Organised
- Good time-keeping

Our ideal Laboratory Assistant will need to be reliable, punctual and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
No previous experience is necessary as a Laboratory Assistant as full training will be provided.
