Hygiene Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Hygiene Manager to oversee and enhance our hygiene practices within the organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring implementing effective hygiene protocols.

This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant health regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess hygiene standards across all areas of the facility.
• Train staff on proper hygiene practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitation techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of cleanliness and safety.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address any hygiene-related issues promptly and effectively, providing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of hygiene audits, training sessions, and incidents related to hygiene practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a hygiene management role
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hygiene practices.
• Ability to build effective relationships with staff at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train others effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
• 2 years previous experience would be great
