Forklift Driver - Night Shift (Craigavon)
Location: Craigavon
Client: Avondale (via Staffline Recruitment)
Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Shift Pattern: Night shift - 22:30 to 08:00, Sunday to Thursday
Staffline Recruitment is currently hiring an experienced Forklift Driver for a fixed night shift role with Avondale, a leading food production company in Craigavon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in intake and despatch operations to secure long-term work in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to manage goods intake and outbound despatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements
- Identifying and escalating issues such as equipment faults or quality concerns
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth production flow
Essential Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence (must be in date and recognised in the UK)
- Experience in intake/despatch or warehouse operations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to escalate issues to supervisors or engineers
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
- Must be self-motivated and able to use own initiative
- Basic English required for following procedures and safety instructions
