🕓 Full-time, 35 hours per week

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Consultant to deliver high-quality, practical HR support and consultancy services to a diverse range of clients across Northern Ireland.

You'll provide advice, develop tailored solutions, and lead on a range of HR consultancy projects - from recruitment and policy development to performance management and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional HR advice and consultancy across areas such as recruitment, employee relations, organisational change, and performance management.

  • Support clients with job advertising, evaluations, and benchmarking on our community job portal.

  • Develop clear, tailored consultancy proposals and ensure delivery meets agreed outcomes and timelines.

  • Ensure all advice aligns with current employment legislation and best practice.

  • Design and implement evaluation tools to assess service impact and inform continuous improvement.

  • Create engaging digital content to promote HR and recruitment services.

  • Collaborate with Associate Partners, internal colleagues, and external stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Essential Criteria

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Associate Membership of CIPD (Level 5 or above).

  • At least three years' experience in an HR role (e.g. HR Consultant, HR Business Partner, or HR Advisor) with responsibility for:

    • Delivering a range of HR operational services.

    • Developing HR policies, procedures, and templates, and providing advice on complex employee relations issues.

    • Leading or supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including job design, benchmarking, and advertising.

  • A strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment law, and consultancy methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with a client-focused mindset.

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools, including the use of design or communication platforms such as Canva.

  • A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach to delivering results.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience promoting or selling online job advertising services or organising job fairs.

  • Previous experience providing HR consultancy within the voluntary/community sector or small business environment.
