Health & Safety Administrator (Band 3)
Location: Belfast
Hours of work: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm (37 hours p/w)
Salary: £13.26 p/h
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Job Purpose
The Health & Safety Administrator will provide essential administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the organisation. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Essential Criteria:
- BTEC National or equivalent Level 3 qualification (NVQ, A-Levels), plus 1 year's relevant general administrative experience; OR; 5 GCSE "O"Levels or equivalent, plus at least 2 years' relevant general administrative experience.
- Experience of use and application of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience of providing support for meetings, including taking and issue of minutes /actions.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Construction Health & Safety Services Team.
- Arranging meetings /events, sending invites, booking rooms, booking catering, attending to take minutes /actions and issue. (This will involve attending meetings in various office locations).
- Providing assistance with arranging the annual Contractor Event and Contractor Forum.
- Providing statistical information for monthly, quarterly & annual reports.
- Providing assistance with maintaining an organisational Incident Register (excel spread sheet) and monitoring a shared mailbox.
- Co-ordinating and issuing Safety Alert Notices (SANs).
