Head of Operations - Luxury 4-Star Hotel, Belfast

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

An award-winning 4-star boutique hotel in Belfast is seeking a Head of Operations to drive excellence across all departments and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

This is a key leadership position, ideal for a results-driven, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment. You'll work closely with the General Manager to shape the hotel's future, ensure operational excellence, and maintain its reputation as one of Belfast's most welcoming and stylish destinations.


What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Events.

  • Ensure smooth service delivery and consistently uphold 4-star standards.

  • Collaborate with department heads to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

  • Analyse performance, guest feedback, and financial data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development to nurture high-performing teams.

  • Manage budgets, monitor costs, and maximise revenue in partnership with the General Manager.

  • Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

  • Represent the hotel professionally, building strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in a senior hospitality operations role - ideally within a 4-star or luxury environment.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate large teams.

  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving revenue.

  • Confident decision-maker with exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and strong organisational skills.

  • A degree in hospitality management or business (preferred but not essential).
