FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER | NORTH DUBLIN | PERMANENT

Our client, a market leader in their field is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This venue, located in North Dublin, requires candidates to have their own transport due to its location. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager or Supervisor to become part of a dynamic team, offering an attractive salary and promising career development prospects.

THE ROLE|

The new team member will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the food and beverage team. You will work closely with the management team to deliver exceptional customer service experiences and maintain operational efficiency. It is essential to motivate and guide your team to meet sales and customer satisfaction targets. You should be knowledgeable and confident in communicating with customers and have previous experience in a supervisory role.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

  • Lead daily operations of all F&B operations including restaurant, bar and event catering.
  • Responsible for all elements of staff management (10 staff) including coordination of daily operational plans, recruitment, training, development, rostering and motivating the team to achieve common goals
  • Oversee service delivery during key events, functions and regular dining
  • Manage systems for stock management, cost control and supplier coordination
  • Collaborate creatively with the Head Chef on menu selection for dining and events, as well as beverage offerings
  • Ensure customers receive the highest quality service and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the highest standards of compliance with Health and Safety regulations, as well as HACCP

REQUIREMENTS|

  • Previous management experience in a hospitality setting within a hospitality venue, preferably hotel or fine dining setting
  • Up-to-date with knowledge of Irish food and alcohol regulations
  • Own transport is essential due to the location
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and familiarity with computerised management and control systems
  • Flexibility to work varying hours including some evenings and weekends
