Delivery Driver

Staffline is looking for delivery drivers for a well known Distribution Company that works directly with a world leading eCommerce Company as they seek to expand their business in Ireland.

About the role

· You'll drive a delivery van to drop off packages to customers as a Self-Employed Driver.

· You'll commonly work 3-5 days a week (Flexible), and may have additional hours during busy periods. Typical working days are 7-9 hours/ day.

· You'll be responsible to deliver packages to customers on behalf of the companies we partner with, in a timely manner. You'll need to act in a professional and positive manner; deliver with a smile!

· You will be required to follow strict safety standards on and off the road.

Benefits:

€14.25- €17.00/ hour (With Bonuses)

· Expected hours: 40 - 45/ Week

· Performance Bonuses- Weekly basis

· Diesel, Tolls, & Insurance- All these are covered by the Company.

· Fully equipped Van- The Company will look after the van maintenance.

· Hi-Vis/ Uniform.

· Full Training provided and paid in full by the Company.

· Full on-road support- The Company has 2 functional offices (Dublin & Cork) operating in 2 shifts, to arrive at the depot before drivers do and leave after they are all back to the depot at the end of the day.

Requirements:

· Must have a full, clean & valid driver's license. (Minimum 1 year experience preferred)

· Must have their own transport to work.

· Must work 1 day at the weekend- This is a 7 days operation, so everyone working full- time will do 1 day at the weekend.

· Must be 25 years old, or over (Preferred)- insurance requirement

· Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van (Up to 3.5t)

· Must be able to move potentially heavy packages. (15 kg max)

· Must consent to background checks- Company's costs.

· Must bring your own: Safety boots (These are required on a daily basis)

· Must have good communication skills.

· Excellent collaborative skills to work as one team to deliver exceptional customer service.
