Job description
Job Title: Band 2/Band 3
Location: Derry/Londonderry
The Client: Western Health and Social Care Trust
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide safe, effective care with compassion.
- To provide care that is patient-centered whilst ensuring that patient's dignity and privacy are always maintained.
- To provide, where appropriate, personal assistance to patients such as bathing, washing, toileting, dressing and feeding.
- To observe and report to Nurse in Charge regarding a patient's health, wellbeing, and behaviours.
- To report to the Nurse in Charge any untoward incidents, e.g. falls, accidents, unexplained injuries.
Hours of work: Flexible working hours/adhoc shifts
Criteria
- Minimum of 6 months formal/paid experience working in a similar Healthcare Role in the UK is essential.
For Band 3 roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have training and competency signed off for Venepuncture and Cannulation
- Training completed in Clinical Observations/Vital Signs
