Rate of Pay - £23.37 per hour

The Client: Local Public organisation based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

As a member of the Leisure & Community Services Management Team the post holder will be required to:

• Provide a business support service to manage the corporate governance of the Department. This includes the likes of audit, risk, performance, health and safety, finance and reports.
• Manage and develop a high-quality service to the Council in support of the corporate plan and strategic work plans.
• To operate in a dynamic and changing environment, recommending creative solutions to project issues and challenges, and provide professional advice and assistance on innovative business and administrative practices.

Hours of work: 37 hours

Requirements:

It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:

1.1 A third level qualification (for example, an HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent in an appropriate discipline eg Financial Management, Accountancy, Business administration, etc.

1.2 A minimum of four years' relevant middle management experience in the following areas of responsibility:

• Production of financial reports/information
• Managing and developing financial controls/administrative systems and processes.
• Managing and developing budgetary control systems.
• Managing and developing performance management systems and processes.
• Development of operational business plans
• Line Management

Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1 above, they must demonstrate a minimum of seven years' experience as outlined in 1.2 above.
