Staffline are recruiting on behalf of NHSCT for a Band 4 Child Protection Record Keeper required on a temporary basis based in Newtownabbey
Role: Band 4 Child Protection Record Keeper
Rate of Pay: £13.57
Location: Newtownabbey
Hours: 37.5hrs
Duration: 3 Months Initially
Main duties/Responsibilities:
Administration
The post holder will be responsible for all matters pertaining to administration to include:
- Provide full secretarial and minute taking support to the Child Protection Case Conference Arena and any matters relating to Independent Chairperson within Northern Trust.
- When required liaise with Independent Chairperson's secretary for suitable dates when issuing of Child Protection Invitations.
- To act as Conference Child Protection Minute Secretary/Record Keeper. When/if required this will include issuing of invitations and liaising with relevant social work staff, other professionals inside and outside the Northern Trust to secure and plan dates for forthcoming Child Protection Case Conference, ensuring the necessary Quorum can attend in line with Northern Trust Policy.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for Child Protection Case Conference in line with Child Protection Case Conference Guidelines.
- Attend and take part in the Child Protection Rota and minute Child Protection Case Conference when required.
- Update Soscare accordingly following Child Protection Case Conference.
- Transcribe Child Protection Case Conference minutes using the UNOCINI software and circulation of minutes within designated regional timescales.
- Collecting and collating statistical information as required in line with targets and PFA's.
- Develop, maintain and update spreadsheets and databases using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Participate in training appropriate to the duties of the post.
- Maintaining staff relationships and morale.
- In agreement with Locality/Departmental Managers, receive and send e-mails on behalf of the Locality/Departmental Manager.
- Participating as required in assessment and training of staff.
- Maintain confidentiality within and without the workplace at all times.
- Through his/her own actions ensure adherence to the Principles of Equality and Human Rights legislation.
- Use Trust and Departmental technology in line with the \trust's Information Management and Technology Strategy.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure the needs of the department are met
Essential Criteria:
- 4 GCSE's which must include (Grade A-C) English Language qualification or equivalent
Plus
- 2 years' experience as a personal assistant/secretary to include experience of diary management, servicing meetings including 2 years' experience of minute taking role.
In addition applicants must possess:
- OCR Text Processing (Business Professionals) Level 2 Award or RSA Stage 2 Typing/Word Processing (both parts).
- Holders of RSA/OCR examinations after September 1986 must have passed both parts. Part qualifications are not acceptable. This must Shortlisting by Application Form be clearly identified on application form
Or
- 1 years' experience in the use of ICT this should include the use of word processing, spreadsheets and email
