Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (rising to £13.21 per hour after permanent employment)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
We're recruiting a Pallet & Box Assembler for a well-established, privately run timber business based in Portadown. In this hands-on role, you'll be working with tools to assemble wooden pallets and apple boxes, using a nail gun and other hand tools to build high-quality timber products. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork, and producing something tangible every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden pallets and boxes using hand tools and nail guns
- Read and follow basic assembly instructions and measurements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work space
- Ensure consistent quality and accuracy in all builds
- Support general yard and workshop duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in woodworking, joinery, or assembly (preferred)
- Confident using hand tools or nail guns
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, hard-working, and a good team player
- Physically fit and comfortable in a workshop environment
