About the Role

Staffline is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter for a leading manufacturing company based in Cavan. This is a permanent position with excellent salary and benefits, ideal for an experienced maintenance fitter, mechanical technician, or industrial engineer seeking a long-term career move.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair of production machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Ensure minimal downtime and support continuous production.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams.
• Maintain health & safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Mechanical qualification with at least 2 year's relevant experience
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment (essential).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts.
