Administrator | Public Sector

At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for a Junior Administrator / Graduate to take up a permanent position with a prominent Public Sector body.

This permanent position will be based in the organisation's office in Sligo office and will offer a hybrid working model of 2 days per week working from home. The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual ready to kick start their career within a dynamic organisation offering excellent long term career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support, including managing incoming communications (phone and email), processing invoices, coordinating event coordination, and maintaining the office diary.
  • Support the Team in coordinating activities and itineraries that advance strategic business development initiatives, including the preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Assist in the creation of high-quality marketing materials such as case studies, profiles, infographics, and other promotional content.
  • Conduct relevant research and maintain an up-to-date database of regional information to support team activities.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as required and generate weekly progress reports for the Management Team.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Executive and Regional Manager to collect and analyse key metrics and performance data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Commit to continuous learning and development through formal and informal opportunities, including participation in the Performance Management and Development Review process.
  • Foster a culture of equality, dignity, inclusion, and respect within and beyond the organisation, and support work-life balance in the workplace.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on additional tasks as required.

Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A third-level qualification is desirable, with an interest in pursuing further education (e.g., a degree) considered an advantage.
  • A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign is advantageous.
  • Willingness to embrace flexibility and explore career development opportunities within the organisation.
  • Availability to travel and work outside normal office hours as required by the role.

This permanent role will have a salary scale starting at €27,304 rising with service to €45,029 along with a hybrid working model and benefits.
