Staffline is recruiting Labourers on behalf of Mid and East Antrim Council to join their operations team at the Ballymena Depot.
Labourer - Ballymena
Location: Ballymena Depot
Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour (Scale 3 SCP 8)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, agency position

Staffline is recruiting Labourers on behalf of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council to join the operations team at Ballymena Depot. This is a physically active, outdoor role supporting waste collection, street cleaning, and recycling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect domestic and commercial waste and recyclables
- Operate council vehicles and bin-lift equipment (training provided)
- Clear litter, leaves and debris from public areas
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Assist the public courteously and professionally
Essential Criteria:
- One year of labouring experience in an outdoor environment
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Desirable:
- Valid Category B Driving Licence
- Previous experience in waste or recycling operations
