Job description

Our client, a large Public Sector Organisation requires an Admin Officer based in Ballymena.

Role: Admin Officer

Location: Ballymena

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week,

Hourly Rate: £11.98

LOCATION OF POST:

Ballymena

MAIN DUTIES:

TYPICAL DUTIES REQUIRE POST-HOLDER TO:

  • Provide timely & accurate admin support to delivery of the team's business objectives
  • Ensure data and reports are formatted correctly, to high standards of presentation using word, power point, excel and other IT software as required
  • Proofread reports and other material to check they are written to excellent standards of English grammar and spelling
  • Support administration of Divisional risk management and business planning
  • Maintain records and reporting systems in relation to GDPR and related
  • Provide admin support to the management of the team work plan including highlighting key milestones and cyclical activities and deadlines in a timely manner
  • Respond to queries about data, performance and other records managed by the
  • Assist the team to manage audits and other governance activities as may be necessary as directed
  • Input data to various IT systems as directed checking for accuracy and to the required deadline
  • Help monitor and manage the Governance team inbox
  • Provide administrative and co-ordination support to divisional activities, meetings and forums
  • Organise the practical arrangements for events as directed including distribution of papers, catering and processing payments in line with policy
  • Contribute to ad hoc governance and business improvement

ESSENTIAL:

Have a minimum of five GCSEs grades A to C (including English & Maths) or equivalent.

AND

  • Have a minimum of 1 years relevant experience showing clear evidence of excellent written and communication skills to meet the needs of the post, specifically;
  • Excellent standards of grammar and spelling in the English language
  • Experience in the effective use of Microsoft Office IT applications to basic level and other systems;
  • Ability to read and readily comprehend formal reports such as corporate plans and annual reports.
