Job description

Our client, the largest utilities company in Northern Ireland are currently seeking to recruit an Admin Assistant to join their team in Belfast.

Pay rate is £11.44 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience plus company benefits.

The position is fulltime temporary ongoing.

37 hours per week and would either be 8-4 or 9-5

Hybrid working would be available on completion of the probationary period.

THE ROLE

The main focus of this role is to ensure that applications for new connections and alterations to the supply progress in line with customer expectations throughout the customer journey.

Key responsibilities include proactively liaising with colleagues and customers to ensure that customer requests progress from application to construction within a reasonable time frame. To that end the role requires an ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Minimum 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grade C including Mathematics and English Language; or minimum two years relevant experience preferably in a clerical / administrative role in a busy office environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Developed IT Skills (including MS Office).
  • Good attention to detail / accuracy.
  • Current UK driving licence & access to a vehicle.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can work with minimum levels of supervision.
  • Previous experience of interacting and communicating directly with customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of organisational skills.
