Accounting Technician

Our client a local mid-sized accountancy practice based in Belfast are currently on the hunt for an Accounting Technician to join their growing team. This position has come up due to continued growth within the firm and is ideally suited to candidates with previous experience within practice. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accounting technician and have around two years of experience within a similar role/firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Provide support with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
• Keep detailed, accurate records while ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the team and deliver excellent client service.

Criteria

• At least two years' experience in a comparable position, ideally within an accountancy practice.
• Experience in using accounting software, including Xero and Sage.
• Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
• Qualified Accounting Technician (e.g. ATI or ATT).
