Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm; Friday, 7:00am to 1:00pm

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a Wet Painter on behalf of our client, a successful and expanding company based in Ballygawley.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and masking.
• Inspect components before painting.
• Mix paint to the correct specifications.
• Spray paint components to a high standard.
• Ensure consistent paint finishes and minimise waste.
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues.
• Carry out touch-ups and paint repairs as required.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
• Use PPE and handle paint materials safely.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and work areas.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance issues.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Follow quality standards and production procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in roles such as wet painter, spray painter, powder coater, vehicle body repair technician, industrial coating, furniture finisher or other hands on finishing positions.
• Experience working to quality standards.
• Good attention to detail.
• Knowledge of paint shop health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
