Maintenance Fitter & Welder - Galway

Staffline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter and MIG/TIG Welder for an immediate-start project based at a sawmill in the Galway area.

Rate: €20 per hour
Location: Galway

Industry: Industrial / Sawmill

Maintenance Fitter

The successful candidate will have experience working in an industrial or heavy mechanical environment, ideally with experience maintaining:

• Conveyors

• Gearboxes

• Motors

• Hydraulics

• Heavy mechanical equipment

• General mechanical systems and machinery

Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing or similar environments is highly desirable.

Welder - MIG & TIG

We are looking for an experienced Welder with strong MIG and TIG welding skills.

Previous experience working in an industrial or heavy-duty environment would be an advantage.

Requirements

• Previous relevant experience in your trade

• Strong mechanical or welding skills, depending on the position

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

• Reliable and available for an immediate start

• Ability to work effectively in a busy industrial environment
