Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks, including Counterbalance and/or Reach.
• Load, unload, move and stack goods and pallets.
• Complete daily/pre-use forklift checks and report defects.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and site traffic rules.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, picking and stock movements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Report hazards, accidents and near misses.
• Use required PPE and follow company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Appropriate forklift operator training and assessment for the equipment being used.
• Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Manual Handling training is an advantage.
• Reach/Counterbalance experience is an advantage.
