Job Summary:

The Food Service Assistant plays a vital role in the smooth operation of food service within a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, restaurants, and catering services. This position involves preparing, serving, and cleaning up food and beverages, ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food items,

Serving Food: Serve meals to customers, ensuring that food is presented attractively.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.

Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a hygienic environment.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for customers.

Adherence to Policies: Follow all food safety and hygiene policies, as well as any other relevant organisational procedures.
