Maintenance Fitter - 24/7 Shift Team

Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth - North East Region
Salary: €30.00 per hour + 17.5% shift premium
Overtime: Paid at approximately 1.5x the basic hourly rate
Shift: 24/7 rotating shift pattern

We are currently recruiting experienced Maintenance Fitters on behalf of a leading manufacturing operation based in Dundalk, supporting a growing engineering and maintenance team across the North East region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter looking to join a well-established operation, offering a competitive hourly rate, shift premium, overtime opportunities and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Carry out fault-finding and repairs across a range of mechanical systems.
• Support continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives.
• Work with equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work as part of a dedicated 24/7 maintenance team.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical or process environments.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Mechanical/electrical experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability and willingness to work a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.
• Strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
